About FSI (Forest Survey of india) Forest Survey of India Recruitment 2018:
FSI is headed by a Director General supported by 2 Joint administrators and eight Deputy
administrators at headquarters. every Zonal workplace is headed by a Regional
Director and supported by one or 2 Deputy administrators. The Joint administrators
at the headquarters head 2 units specifically National Forest information
Management Centre (NFDMC) and coaching & Forest Inventory (TFI).
NFDMC conducts assessment of forest cowl, thematic mapping, production
of maps, etc. TFI unit is bothered with inventory of tree resources within and
outdoors the forests, conducting of coaching courses, extension works,
